Day 18, 14th Feb, Thursday

ABOVE IS MY CHARACTER DESIGN=)

Today was one of the slackest day ever, haha. we had to treasure it, because the days to come will be super tiring and stressful during animation and filming. Then we would rather slack, haha. But, this is CREWSADE,inc. Nothing can stop us. I just heard from my teamates about what Wahidah had said about cutting down on the epic things to make it simpler. No offence there, but i disagree with it too. Why? simple...because it will then look too singapore-ish. Look at advertisements nowadays, all singapore made advertisements are so recognisable. There was a day when Raj bro and I was out, we were looking at advertisemnts on TV. We were like trying to guess which country made the advertisement. And, guess wat? all the boring ones were singapore-made. It is so obvious, because we keep it too simple. Look at NAVY'S advertisement. I certainly find that they are the ones that have improved the most, when it comes to promoting themselves. All their CGI's Visual effects made it look so cool, and that's what captures viewers heart and attention. They could have juz stickded to their old method of just using typography, voice over and scenes of training. But these are so yesterday.

I know Wahidah just wants us to focus on our main point, and not stress ourselves with unecessary trouble. Thanks anyway=), but seriously, i think we should be encouraged and not discouraged to do all these, because if more people recieves such discouragement, some may just stop and revert back to their, sorry to say this, but "old fashion style". Which i think is what's kelling the industry. Yes, i agree sokmetimes simplicity is beauty, but it depends on case to case scenarios. I rest my case=).

Back to my lovely group, haha. We have been slacking today because, WE ARE ON SCHEDULE!! haha...right now we are just learning things from Raj bro. Jem and I are like super hardworking. We're learning all the visual effects stuff from Raj bro who gladly teaches us. U rock BRO!!! haha. After we have mastered all, which we have to do it soon. We'll be helping out in designing and coming out with visual effects for certain scenes too. Wendy will also be learning, but she is more interested in manga and anime drawing. But, nonetheless, she is very very very good at it=) GOOD JOB WENDY=) haha. yea..that's all for today.

Some words for my groupmates-
Raj- omg bro, your totally awesome man. haha...im going to learn whatever you teach me, and help you out soon=). And bro, you are doing great as a leader. HAHA...dont worry, just dont stress yourself too much yea. When you're stress, sing the song we came out with.haha..YOUR kkj, MY kkj, HIS KKJ, her KKJ. LOL.

Jem- bRO, YOUR AWESOME TOO MAN. Your talking skills and camera skills are superb. HAHA....good job!! LOL. Your drawing has improved alot too, but remember what i say, draw the correct way, if not you wont improve fast. HAHA, and your after effects are cool too, hurry learn together then we can help Raj bro out.

Wendy- Awesome mushroom character you designed. Great job! HAHA...and really nice animes too. Keep up the good work, dont get too stressed too, doing animation soon oredi, haha. You wont complain of being bored. LOL
